About The Just For Men Edition
- Does the Just For Men Edition promote Misogyny Against Women?Absolutely NOT! There is no derogatory or hurtful language towards women whatsover in this series of DVDs. The product was created to discuss the issues facing men and fathers in the family court system.
Currently for fathers, it has been an uphill battle in just getting joint custody of their children. Vindictive mothers have found ways to manipulate the family court system through unscrupulous attorneys using dirty tactics (false allegations etc).
The mastermind summit's focus was to unveil these tactics and expose the unfairness against fathers that is going on everyday and to hopefully give fathers a chance for winning equal custody of their children.
Promoting equality is far from promoting misogyny.
- Do you allow this DVD edition to be sold to women?Yes. If a wife chooses to be vindictive, she could easily do so in court without having even watched this series. Also, we are not allowed to discriminate based on gender who purchases this product. A wife could easily order this product by simply using her initials, and we would have no clue it's being shipped to someone's wife.
We understand there is good and bad in each gender. If a man is violent towards his wife, we will sleep very good at night selling this series to his wife. No human being should be a victim of violence. Obviously we want to create a product for those who are truly in need of this and to keep it out of the hands of those plotting to use it for vengeful means. Sadly, it's just impossible to determine who those people are.
We also hope that if a person decides to be vindictive against their spouse, that this DVD series may give that person second thoughts about deploying any dirty tactics against their spouse. We hope this person can take a step back and realize that children need both parents, and to go through the divorce process with honor and integrity to the best of their ability.
We can only hope.
All About Podcasting
- What is a podcast?Podcasting lets you automatically receive the latest discussions from the attorneys involved with our website as soon as it's available. You need to "subscribe" to receive a podcast, rather like you might subscribe to a magazine and get it delivered each week. An important difference is that all of Brutal Divorce Tactics' podcasts are free, and you can stop receiving the files at any time.
In order to sign up for a podcast you need an internet connection and a piece of podcast software which is usually available free of charge. This software can check the Brutal Divorce Tactics website for new episodes and automatically download them for you. - What is an mp3?MP3 is a popular digital music format for sound files, that are small in size but still reasonably high quality.
This makes it a very suitable format for downloading from the web – audio files can be reduced to around a tenth of their normal size without significant loss of quality. This is achieved by stripping out a lot of the recorded information that our ears aren't able to hear, like the sounds that are outside our hearing range.Related Links

- What is RSS?RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. By using RSS you can see when new internet content has been added.
You can get the latest news headlines, articles, photographs and, of course, podcasts, as soon as they are published without having to check manually every day. To do this you subscribe to an RSS document, which is sometimes called a "feed", using a “feed reader”. This is a piece of software that checks RSS feeds for new content. To start the subscription you simply enter the RSS feed into the software and it does the rest for you.
To get a podcast you will need podcast software. You subscribe to the podcast by entering the feed's link into the software. This initiates the subscription process. The software then regularly checks your subscribed feeds for new podcasts, downloading any new episodes that it finds. - Do I have to subscribe in order to listen?

- How do I unsubscribe from a podcast?Unsubscribing from a podcast will depend on the software or feed reader that you are using but here are some general guidlines:
Select the undesired podcast (feed), in the software or feed reader that you are using.
Next, look for commands or buttons with "unsubscribe", "delete", "remove", "remove selected feed" or similar sounding text and carry out the action.
Sometimes simply selecting the feed and hitting the delete key may do the trick.
Note that unsubscribing from a podcast will not necessarily delete previously downloaded episodes and deleting the actual files may require further action on your part. - What kind of internet connection do I need?
- How do I listen to podcasts on your site?If you would rather not subscribe, you can listen to individual episodes of our podcasts easily with our flash media player that is built into the webpage. Simply click on the play button. Depending on whether ot not you have a slow connection, you may have to allow some time for the file to buffer (load).

- Can I burn podcast episodes to CD?Yes, but the podcasts are for your personal non-commercial use only.

- Do I need to have an iPod or MP3 player to listen to, or subscribe to,No, you don't.
Anyone with a computer connected to the internet can download and listen to MP3 files. You will need a media player on your computer (many PCs come with Windows Media Player, for example), or you can use our embedded flash player, and you'll also need speakers or headphones.
The advantage of transferring the downloads onto a portable player is that you can then listen to them on the move. - What software do I need to subscribe to a podcast?
- What software do I need to play episodes of a podcast? To listen to an episode you will need a media player, a piece of software, that can play mp3 files. The operating system that controls your computer should come pre-loaded with a media player. If you do not have appropriate software loaded, try one of the players that are popular with Brutal Divorce Tactics users or see the Related Links.

- How do I listen to podcasts on my mp3 player? Each mp3 player will be different but basically, plug your player into your computer (usually via a USB cable) and it should appear as an external device that you can drag and drop your podcasts to. You will need to locate the podcasts on your computer first obviously, and how you do this will depend on the podcasting software you have.
This is quite a manual process and, fortunately, some mp3 players allow you to "synch" your software with the player. This means that each time you plug in your mp3 player, the software will automatically update the player with the latest additions to your collection. - I've downloaded an mp3 but I can't hear anything. What could be the problem?Have you turned on your speakers, and turned up the volume?
If our flash media player or your media player indicates that the mp3 is playing but you still can't hear anything, check that your computer's speakers are on and that the volume is turned up. Be sure to check that all cables from your computer to your speakers are plugged in correctly. If you can access your computer's sound card settings, you should also check that the output of both 'master volume' and 'wave' are set to reasonable levels.
- I've subscribed to a podcast but I'm getting an error message. What could be the problem? This will depend on the podcasting application that you are using. You should refer to the Help or Trouble Shooting section in your application to trace the source of the error.
You may also want to delete the feed and re-subscribe.
As a last resort, if you are having persistent problems you may want to choose another podcasting application. - Can the sound quality of podcasts be improved? At present the sound quality of our mp3 files conform to our standards which are 80 Kbps (mono) for speech-based podcasts. We feel that this is more than sufficient, and, given that higher quality audio on the web would be expensive, we have to find a balance between audio quality and cost. Podcasts are very popular and we believe we've got the balance right.

- Why do podcast episodes take a very long time to download on my computer? The speed of a download is dependent on several factors such as your connection speed; the time of day; how busy the internet is; and whether your connection is being shared with others.
If you have a slow connection you might like to try downloading at off peak-times such as late at night or early in the morning.
